The pirate's jewel

Once again it's time: Clear the stage for school theater! In July, the SCHOOL THEATRE DAYS take place, during which theater groups from grades 5 to 13 try out, network, talk about theater - and of course perform theater. What are the groups from schools in Freiburg and the surrounding area working on? You can find out on two evenings with two different plays in the Kleines Haus. On Thu, 11.07.2024, the joint Theater-AG of the Richard-Fehrenbach-Gewerbeschule and the Merian-Schule will present their play DAS JUWEL DER PIRATIN. This is how the Theater-AG describes its play: Alick, an unsuccessful writer, Emerald Sathive, a young lady from a good family, and Elodie Dagger, a fearless pirate on the "Havoc" - what on earth do these characters have to do with each other? And who is "Jochen and Pirate", who is more at home in the "Bar of Two Worlds" than on his ship and on the high seas? The mysterious barkeeper seems to know more than meets the eye... In our self-developed play "The Pirate's Jewel", we tell you the whole story. It's about dream men and dream women, about birds and fish and about love and the desire for freedom.
