The FREI ART FESTIVAL presents outstanding choreographies at Studio Pro Arte

On May 1, 2025 at 7:30 pm, the Frei Art Festival, in cooperation with Theater Dortmund, will bring the NRW Junior Ballet to Freiburg with pieces by Marco Goecke, Alexander Ekman and Xin Peng Wang.
The NRW Junior Ballet is one of Germany's elite young dancers and has the opportunity to work with the most outstanding choreographers. To mark the festival, the NRW Juniorballett will present the piece Midsummer Night's Dream by award-winning choreographer Alexander Ekman and the performance Blushing by Marco Goecke, which has won numerous prizes, on May 1, 2025. The dance piece Im Wald by Xin Peng Wang, ballet director and chief choreographer of Theater Dortmund, will conclude the dance evening at Studio Pro Arte.

In addition to the performance evening, an open stage with short pieces by up-and-coming dancers and many other events will take place at Studio Pro Arte during the festival.
