Cordial

Cordiale 2024 starts on September 27 and ends with Africa Day on October 3.

CORDIALE has been taking place at E-Werk event rooms every year around October 3 since 2018. It is a format in which a jury of people with multiple affiliations or migration experience puts together the program. People with and without a history of migration present their diverse talents with exhibitions, readings, panel discussions, dance, DJs and performances. This year's jury consists of Khathutshelo Muthivhi, Alex Moepedi, Kirstie Angstmann and Owusu Künzel.

Africa Day has been taking place annually since 2017 with its interdisciplinary programme on 3 October and is organized by Our Voice by Radio Dreyeckland and FAIRburg - in cooperation with 10 other Freiburg-based migrant self-organizations.
Africa Day has been part of the CORDIALE program since 2022. The events also all take place as part of Freiburg's Intercultural Weeks.
