Comedy Night - Hosted by Julian Limberger
Thursday, 05/06/2025 / 08:00 PM / Jazzhaus Freiburg
On 05.06.2025 at 20:00 the next Comedy Night will take place at Jazzhaus. This time, the audience can look forward to funny artists known from comedy formats such as Quatsch Comedy Club, Night Wash and TV.
The Comedy Night is characterized by a colourful mix of cabaret and comedy acts. The audience can also look forward to humorous and musical acts. In addition to well-known comedians from radio and television, the Jazzhaus in Freiburg also offers the opportunity to experience fresh newcomers. Freiburg presenter and comedian Julian Limberger will lead the evening in a spontaneous and humorous manner.
Thomas Schreckenberger presents excerpts from his new program: "Only lies count." People lie constantly and everywhere. There are harmless lies ("I have nothing to wear!") or lies to avoid hurting others. Like parents praising a child's self-painted picture while at the same time thinking: "I hope the youth welfare office never sees this!" But then there have always been dangerous lies that were intended to deliberately mislead and often brought disaster to many people. Just think of sentences such as "Nobody intends to build a wall!" or "Seitenbacher muesli - delicious, delicious, delicious." Accompany the multi-award-winning cabaret artist Thomas Schreckenberger (Tuttlinger Krähe, Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg) through the jungle of lies of our time - armed with the machete of humor and the power of parody, always in search of the last remnant of truth.
As (V)ERZIEHER, Jan Preuß regularly causes big laughs and discussions on Instagram and TikTok about what educators can and cannot say. In his new comedy program, he goes one better!
Because children's mouths tell the truth. Educators know this better than anyone else in the world. Educational professionals get everything that cheeky mouths have to offer peppered around their ears every day. Jan Preuß asks the relevant questions: Are children's songs really written for children? Are there still good series for children? Is BPA really the most dangerous thing in children's toys? And are we just breeding egomaniacs?
Ruthlessly honest, hilarious or, as young people say today: pedagogically bottomless! Jan Preuß has been performing on the country's stand-up stages for twelve years now and is a welcome guest on well-known comedy shows such as the Quatsch Comedy Club. He is the winner of the cabaret award "Die Sau von Nördlingen" 2020, today the young comedian hosts several comedy formats in Germany and is on tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with his new program "(V)ERZIEHER - pädagogisch bodenlos".
