On 19.12.24 at 20.00 the next Comedy Night will take place at Jazzhaus. Just before Christmas, there will be a Christmas comedy show with a few surprises. This time, the audience can look forward to three top-class comedians known from comedy formats such as Quatsch Comedy Club, Night Wash and TV.

They are:
Berhane Berhane (Quatsch Comedy Club)
Luca Brosius (Mannheimer Comedy Cup)
Lukas Wandke (Night Wash)
Host: Julian Limberger

"The Comedy Night is characterized by a colourful mix of cabaret and comedy contributions," says the evening's host Julian Limberger. He leads through the evening in a spontaneous and cheeky manner. Limberger continues: "We have once again been able to attract great artists from all over Germany for Comedy Night. Word has gotten around about the show, the artists are looking forward to the location and, above all, to the Freiburg audience."

Berhane Berhane rocked the SAP Arena twice with his short appearances with Bülent Ceylan. Not only the audience, but also Bülent himself was more than enthusiastic: "This guy is so cool!" His current program "Deutscher als Du" really leaves nothing to be laughed at. The big questions of our time such as "Can civil servants do anything at all?", "Can I become a civil servant as an African?" or "Who checks the tax office anyway?" are just some of the questions that Berhane sheds light on from his unique perspective. The final question is "Who is the German here? Berhane is also known for his TV broadcasts and appearances on Quatsch Comedy Club and Night Wash.

What can you do in your free time? Quite a lot. But what does that have to do with German TV celebrities? Quite a lot. How does Romeo and Juliet sound in Saxon? Very melodic. And with Luca Brosius even extraordinarily erotic. But how does all this relate to the creative options of our free time? Combined with a good dose of voice imitation and slapstick, the winner of numerous comedy prizes for young talent tries to answer these questions. Always under the motto: Better sore muscles from laughing than no pet at all.

Lukas Wandke, a comedian and presenter who never really wanted to be either, suddenly found himself on stage and since then has preferred to tour through life with just a microphone. During his performances, the audience experiences with Lukas the "typical" problems of a university graduate looking for a job and a woman - the colossal failure of the little things that make up life, such as cooking, shopping, talking to a caring grandmother or observing stressed corals.
Lukas is a likeable, funny Generation Y type - he never really takes himself seriously and stands for one thing above all: pure joie de vivre!
