L'amour ouf | Beating hearts - Gilles Lellouche | F 2024

Northern France in the 80s: Clotaire, who grew up in a troubled neighborhood, falls in love with the intrepid Jackie, who comes from a middle-class background. But the love between the two teenagers is put to the test by the rampant gang violence in the city.

Gilles Lellouche is a well-known French actor, screenwriter and director. The brother of actor Philippe Lellouche, he is equally at home in thrillers ("Bac Nord", "La French") and drama films ("Le Sens de la fête", "Les Petits Mouchoirs") as well as directing them and often works with Guillaume Canet and Jean Dujardin, two famous figures of French cinema.
