Hanukkah concert

The dark season is here and with it comes cold, loneliness and melancholy as well as candlelight, coziness and peace. In Christianity, this time is characterized by Advent. The Jewish Hanukkah festival takes place at the same time. The Yiddish trio "Meydelech" from Freiburg cordially invites you all to the Hanukkah concert on Sunday 15.12.24 at 15:00 in the Heinrich Hansjakobhaus. With traditional songs in their own arrangements and recited texts, themes such as mourning, hope, freedom and love will be addressed in relation to the Hanukkah festival. To the sound of recorders (Tabea Popien), singing (Lucile Bailly-Gourevitch) and piano (Noemie Berz), the ideas of Hanukkah celebrations will be made tangible. Admission is by donation.
