Camerata Instrumentale Freiburg - Department Store Serenades

On Saturday, September 21 at 8.15 pm, Camerata Instrumentale continues this year's season of department store serenades in the Kaminsaal of the historical merchants' hall on Münsterplatz. The Sanssouci Trio Freiburg will be performing with Frank Michael, Ming Wang and Jens Josef (flutes). The varied program includes trios by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (op. 7 no. 5 in G major), Johann Christian Bach, the "Tre Capricci" op. 65 no. 2 for piccolo, flute and bass flute by Frank Michael and, as the crowning highlight, the trio op. 93 no. 1 in E flat major by the romantic composer Eugène Walckiers. Also on the program are 3 duos: by the Australian composer Felix Werder ("Mirror"), by Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 803 and 805) and Allegro and Minuet by Ludwig van Beethoven, which he gave to his friend Degenharth in 1792 when he left for Vienna. A particularly virtuoso and impressive solo, commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Flöte e.V. for the international ONLINE competition 2022, the fantasy "Dreiertanz" by Jens Josef enriches the program.
