Book Lounge: Mona Ameziane in conversation with Michelle Steinbeck and Mascha Unterlehberg - live podcast

Journalist and presenter Mona Ameziane takes us on her trips to books and people. The book lover visits literature houses in Germany and meets the two outstanding authors Michelle Steinbeck and Mascha Unterlehberg in Freiburg.

Following her debut novel "Mein Vater war ein Mann an Land und im Wasser ein Walfisch" and the poetry collection "Eingesperrte Vögel singen mehr", Steinbeck has published "Favorita" (park x ullstein, 2024), a linguistically captivating road trip that leads across Italy and into a fearless fight against patriarchal violence. Mascha Unterlehberg has worked at theaters in Germany and Switzerland, was a finalist in the 27th Open mike and curated the Literaturhaus series "zwischen/miete" during her time as a student in Freiburg. Today she is bringing a preview of her debut novel "Wenn wir lächeln", which will be published by Dumont in February 2025.
