Rehearsals: Thursdays, 10am-12pm, Room 104

Final rehearsals and workshop concert:
Thursday, June 26, 10 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm Orchestra rehearsal, Theodor-Egel-Saal (TES), 7 pm to 9:30 pm Choir rehearsal
Friday, 27. June, 2 to 5 pm orchestra rehearsal and 6:30 to 9:30 pm tutti
Saturday, June 28, audition 3 to 5 pm
The course will deal with the "German Requiem" by Johannes Brahms. Questions of conducting, the performance version, the arrangement of the score and the orchestral material will be dealt with as well as auditions and working with soloists. The works will be performed in their entirety in a final workshop concert. The course participants will be responsible for conducting. The course is primarily aimed at Master's and Bachelor's students of church music from the 7th semester onwards as well as students majoring in choral conducting/orchestral conducting with a minor in choral conducting and school music students majoring in ensemble conducting. Work shadowing is also possible. Limited number of participants (concert conducting): 10 (more participants are of course welcome to attend the course)
