Under the direction of Lautaro Mura Fuentealba, the choir El Sur en Canto from Cologne sings about flirtation and love, is enthusiastic about flora, fauna and the moon, and pays homage to life in boleros, cumbias, zambas and other South American varieties.
TheLatin America Choir Freiburgsings songs that are militant or full of longing and encourage. Under the direction of Silke Leuschner and accompanied by guitars, charango, quena flutes, harp and percussion instruments, they take listeners into the world of South and Central America.
Admission is free. Donations are requested for the benefit of theBosque Azul forest project in Costa Rica.
