Biodiversity potential of industrial estates (online lecture)

Free entry

Online lecture series on the topic "Active for biodiversity - what can we do?" as part of the special program to strengthen biodiversity in Baden-Württemberg. Settled areas often have higher biodiversity potential than agricultural areas or forests. These potentials should be used for biodiversity in the sense of "differentiated land use". Industrial estates are particularly suitable for this, as their outdoor areas can be used more extensively and in a more diverse way than city centers. In this paper, in addition to a general biodiversity strategy for industrial estates, monitoring records on biodiversity over 10 years in an industrial estate will be presented. - Registration required.
