5th chamber concert

5th chamber concert

The chamber concerts are an absolute affair of the heart for our musicians. They give the audience the opportunity not only to experience the high level at which music is made in our orchestra, but also to enjoy the instruments, which have to fit into the big picture on the big stage, up close and personal. The programs are as diverse as our colleagues and offer well-known and newly discovered chamber music from the Baroque to the present day. What do European quartet culture and a Chinese lute have to tell each other? Perhaps something about great spirits? With string quartets by Schubert, Schumann and Tan Dun. With Chia-Ling Chang (pipa / Liuqin), Nova Quartet: Nozomi Sekiguchi, Kirsten Harms, (violin), Hayoon Yoon-Mayer (viola), Tong Zhang (violoncello) Franz Schubert Quartet movement in C minor D70 Tan Dun Concerto for String Quartet and Pipa Robert Schumann String Quartet in A major op. 41 No. 3
