2nd chamber concert

Franz Schubert: String Quartet No. 15 in G major D. 887 Anton Webern: Slow movement for string quartet Abel Cruz Lezama: Christmas arrangements On the first Sunday in Advent, the musicians of the Philharmonic Orchestra once again invite you to a morning of the finest chamber music! This time we will embark on a journey from the classical period to contemporary music with a stopover in the early 20th century. How has the string quartet changed over the centuries? In Schubert's bright, sparkling STREICHQUARTETT NR. 15, the ensemble plays a lively game in the truest sense of the word: they throw impulses around and the players take them up with relish. Webern imagines the quartet as a single but multi-faceted musical being: In his LANGSAMEN SATZ, four voices unite and move forward sinuously. In WEIHNACHTSARRANGEMENTS, Abel Cruz Lezama collects themes from various genres - Celtic music, film music, rock and baroque - to create a tribute to the diversity of contemporary music. Full of relish, radiant, mysterious, boundless and always open to new ways of thinking and listening: the string quartet. Treat yourself to a morning full of adventure at our 2nd KAMMERKONZERT!
