10 years of Freileser - reading kiosk and open-air activities for children and families

For its first double-digit birthday, Freiburg artist and BauMit activist Jens Burde has developed a new edition of our "Freileser" bicycle - the much-loved reading kiosk has a new, exciting look. In good weather, the converted cargo bike heads for Freiburg's public swimming pools and other green islands in the city. On board: picture books, children's novels, non-fiction, comics and much more.

Welcome to browse and browse, to short readings, Kamishibai theater and activities in the open air. The current "Freileser" location can be found here and on our Instagram page from July.
