Organizing meetings effectively. Methods and impulses for a successful voluntary meeting and committee culture

Courses & workshops
Malteser Hilfsdienst Freiburg e.V.

Voluntary committees are central places for commitment, co-determination and joint decision-making. At the same time, many volunteers experience meetings as long, less binding or frustrating - not because there is a lack of motivation, but because roles, goals and decision-making processes are often unclear.

The workshop is aimed at volunteers from initiatives, associations and organizations who want to make their committee work more effective, structured and participatory. The focus is on practical methods and helpful framework conditions with which meetings can be moderated in a targeted manner, participation can be managed well and decisions can be made clearly and bindingly. The workshop combines short exchanges of experience with concrete, tried-and-tested practical tips. Participants will learn simple moderation methods, clear decision-making formats and structural aids that can be directly transferred to their own committee work.
