We live in a digital world: our everyday lives are shaped by data, artificial intelligence and social media. This brings advantages, but also challenges. We are "always on", the speed of our communication is increasing and information is constantly bombarding us. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish truth from fake news. We often feel disoriented and lost. The dance piece Simulacro by the Spanish company Kor'sia is about how digitalization is changing the way we think and feel. The piece brings the chaos of our present onto the stage. The only question that remains is: can we find our way out of this chaos? Kor'sia brings dance, theater and digital worlds together. With imaginative choreographies and visually stunning productions, they appeal to all the senses. In Simulacro, choreographers Antonio de Rosa and Mattia Russo play with reality and virtuality. The dancers move in a dazzling mosaic of images, shadows and digital effects. Movement and technology go hand in hand and blur the boundaries between reality and appearance.
