Step by step to your own heat pump
How can the switch from fossil heating systems to heat pumps be successful? This series of events organized by the Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with the Energy Agency Regio Freiburg shows how.
From planning and funding opportunities to installation - participants can expect a practical overview of the most important steps involved in replacing a heating system. The second part of the evening offers the opportunity to talk to energy consultants and local plumbing and heating companies.
The event will be offered in various districts and towns in Freiburg. The focus is on areas that are classified as "heat pump suitability areas" in the MasterplanWärme. These are less densely populated than others, which is why the demand for heat is lower. Expanding district heating there would be more expensive than in the rest of the city and is therefore not planned. Instead, decentralized solutions such as heat pumps are an option.
