MERCI GRAND PRIX!
LOCALS
In a fast-paced stage show, the six-piece live band (polyphonic vocals, accordion/keyboard, double bass, guitar and drums) transforms itself from the serious combo of the late 1950s into the brightly colored show act of the last competitions.
Perfectly staged with minimal means, Merci Grand Prix! resurrects the best winners' and the most beautiful losers' songs in their original language, somewhere between "oh, that was nice" and "oh God... - do you remember?"
Of course, there will also be an authentic audience vote at the end of the show: Who will win tonight? The best song? The flashiest choreography? Or just the neighboring country again?
Bright delight or exasperated rolling of the eyes? Friend or foe of the Eurovision Song Contest? Or still undecided? In any case, we guarantee that after two extremely enjoyable hours, you too will go home with a big smile on your face and say: "Merci, Merci Grand Prix!"
Sing and dance along once again this evening and let yourself be whisked away on a musical journey through 6 decades of the Eurovision Song Contest, formerly the Grand Prix d'Eurovision de la Chanson. (https://mercigrandprix.eu)
