Matinee: From Roman girl to matron
Colombischlössle – Archäologisches Museum (archaeological museum "Colombischlössle")
The matinee at the archaeological museum "Colombischlössle" is all about women in ancient Rome. How was the life of a free-born Roman girl shaped and what made her a matron, a "perfect" wife? Social concepts of female appearance such as cosmetics and fashion played a major role in this. With archaeologist Pia Micheel, the participants follow the career of a Roman woman: from family expectations to social positions. The German-Nigerian cello duo Godwin Ude and Walter-Michael Vollhardt will provide the musical accompaniment. Participation costs 7 euros, concessions 5 euros. Tickets are available in the online store.
