Piano solo recital

The Goethe-Institut Freiburg is delighted to host the piano concert with pianist Yasue Yuki. The pianist will present a challenging program with intermezzi from the late piano works of Johannes Brahms and the 24 Préludes by Frédéric Chopin - an impressive insight into two contrasting worlds of romantic piano music.

Yasue Yuki was born in Otsu, Japan, and completed her piano studies with honors at the Kyoto City University of Arts. As a Rotary Foundation International scholarship holder, she continued her pianistic training at the State College of Music in Freiburg. Since then she has lived in Freiburg and now teaches at the Freiburg University of Music herself.
