Children's group: Separation and divorce
When parents separate or divorce, this changes children's lives significantly. Depending on the family situation, they have to adjust to visiting arrangements, changes of school and home and material restrictions. New partners of the parents may also come into their lives. Feelings of anger, sadness and shame confuse and burden the children.
The group program for children aged 8 to 10 offers support and relief to the children concerned. The children experience that they are not alone in their experience. Expert staff accompany the children and support them in learning new ways of coping and gaining space for their own development. In accompanying discussions, parents receive suggestions on how to support their children even better.
The children's group is offered twice a year during the Easter and fall vacations.
