The Freiburg doctor and theologian Johannes Pistorius the Younger (1546 - 1608) takes you to the bloody scenes and familiarizes you with fanatical worshippers. But he also tells you about dangerous orifices and introduces you to the quirks of Habsburg emperors. It's shocking, instructive - and even funny!

An actor takes on the role of the restless spirit of Johannes Pistorius the Younger, a fascinating Freiburg personality who has (almost) disappeared from the city's memory. He was very famous and influential during his lifetime, even making it to the emperor's court, and in Freiburg he courageously intervened in the witchcraft craze.
