Green roof or PV roof systems? Both! - Lunch & Learn at the EWS Store Freiburg

In times of increasing urbanization and advancing climate change, sustainable building concepts are becoming more and more important; roofs are becoming important areas for ecological and energy solutions. The combination of green roofs and photovoltaic systems in particular offers great potential: it combines the improvement of the microclimate, the retention of rainwater and the promotion of biodiversity with the generation of sustainable solar energy.

In her keynote speech, Verena Hilgers, Climate Adaptation Manager at the Freiburg Environmental Protection Agency, will report on specific technical concepts, concrete measures and funding opportunities.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to talk about this over a lunchtime snack.
