Commemorative concert on the 85th anniversary of the deportation of the Jews of Baden to Gurs

Na'ama Shulman (soprano) and Ofer Gadi Stolarov (piano) will perform works by Viktor Ullmann, Gideon Klein, Alban Berg, Erich W. Korngold, Yoni Rechter, Menachem Wiesenberg and others.

The concert commemorates October 22, 1940, when Jews from Baden and Alsace were rounded up, herded into cattle wagons and taken to the Gurs camp in the Pyrenees, near the Spanish border.
