Opening concert

Welcome to the new season! We're finally starting a new season - with a new team and, above all, a brand new program. There's already plenty to discover on our opening weekend and at the big opening concert. Here we push open the door to this new season and present you with a full cast, the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra, vocal soloists, the Theater Freiburg Opera Choir and two conductors, a rich mixture of special greetings from our program. Including: roaring Dvorak, exciting Greenwood, dramatic Adams, ravishing Silvestrov, a huge hit by Verdi and other surprises! We are already excited and looking forward to seeing you!
