The Stopping Ascent of Arturo Ui (Bertolt Brecht) - class play for year 12

The cauliflower trust in Chicago is in crisis: fewer and fewer people in the increasingly poor city are still buying cauliflowers. The cauliflower trust desperately tries to pull its fellow citizens into its business in order to get a loan from the city. Big trouble and secrets arise, which Arturo Ui and his gangsters use to gain power. They silence people who stand in their way. But will silence bring Arturo Ui to power and is his rise to power really unstoppable?
