After Work: Ice Age Art of Europe

Guided tours
Colombischlössle – Archäologisches Museum (archaeological museum "Colombischlössle")

Mailin Bretz guides interested visitors through the exhibition "Urformen. Ice Age Art of Europe". Cave paintings and three-dimensional representations of humans and animals tell of the artistic expressiveness of the first modern humans in Europe. 23 replicas of the most famous Ice Age figures and flutes from the Swabian Alb as well as unique originals from the hunting site at Petersfels near Engen offer insights into the shared values of our ancestors. Participation costs the regular entrance fee. The number of participants is limited.
